BIOGRAPHY
| Pivotal Rockordings was birthed in 2004 with the simple goal of signing and releasing quality music from across the globe. The label's creation was the result of a long-term goal for the two founding members yet a "seize the moment" entrepreneurial hunch is what set the cards into play as the label's first artist, Sonic Syndicate, was signed at the same time. In September 2005, less than a year from its inception, the label released the band's debut album Eden Fire, transitioning Pivotal Rockordings from a mere idea, to a full-fledged business. Pivotal Rockordings went on to sign several other exciting bands throughout the following years while further expanding its operations and yielding more success stories. It wasn't long before the label established itself as a name brand that both young and seasoned artists eagerly inquired about a record deal. Pivotal Rockordings' success can be attributed to its ability to find relevant artists for today's market as well as its ever-growing knowledge base and industry connections. Few other labels if any are able to provide the one-on-one team oriented approach that Pivotal Rockordings provides to its artists.

PRESS KIT SUBMISSIONS | One press kit is to be mailed directly to our inhouse A&R department and a second press kit is to be mailed to one of our external A&R agents. Our A&R agents devote their time to work directly with bands they find of interest, making the submission of press kits to these individuals a great benefit to bands. We do NOT accept electronic press kits. Requests sent to us to "check out" band MP3s and/or websites [IE Myspace or Purevolume] will be disregarded.
Included in the press kit should be as many of the following items as possible:
- CD (CD-R's accepted ONLY if the album has never been pressed, in which case artwork should be somehow included).
- Detailed biography of the band and members.
- Band photos (promo and/or live.)
- Any press reviews.
- Website links (Official, MySpace, PureVolume, YouTube, etc)
- Contact information (E-mail and snail mail addresses.)
- NOTES - AN ACTUAL CD MUST BE INCLUDED OTHERWISE THE PRESS KIT WILL BE DISCARDED. KEEP IN MIND THAT FAILING TO INCLUDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION CAN ONLY HURT YOUR CHANCES OF WORKING WITH US.
